Post Irma

Irma came and went, up the West Coast, mostly.  Here in Miami we had downed trees, and more trees, and even more trees and leaves, and foliage everywhere and trees and leaves.  Did I mention the downed trees?  Flooding in some areas.  To be quite honest we really dodged a massive bullet.

The Keys didn’t fare as well.  The image above is a picture of my friends house down there.

It’s terrible because you know how folks from Key West feel about storms:  they don’t leave.  Which means that a lot of people were down there to deal with Irma’s wrath.  Some didn’t make it.

My heart goes out to the residents of the Keys that decided to stay down there and brave the storm.  I hope you guys can get back to normal sooner than later.

God bless!
